Whether you are looking for outdoor fun for kids around the holidays or events to enjoy all season long to beat the winter blues, we have something for you!<\/p>\n<p>Chester County\u2019s seven parks and three trails are popular destinations throughout the year, attracting nearly 1.5 million visitors annually. Chester County Parks + Preservation Park Rangers have created unique ways for residents of all ages to enjoy the trails and parks this winter.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Registration is now open for everything from a holiday luminaire hike, star gazing and disc golf weekends, to winter wilderness hikes, educational programs about maple syrup, and more. Remember to keep an eye out for the pop-up surprise sledding program, too! Many of these programs fill up quickly. To register for any of the scheduled programs, visit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chesco.org\/parkprograms\">www.chesco.org\/parkprograms<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are excited to host a wide variety of holiday and winter events, which wouldn\u2019t be possible without our dedicated park rangers. They put a great deal of effort and time into developing and hosting these programs,\u201d said Dave Stauffer, director of Chester County Parks + Preservation. \u201cWe look forward to continuing to connect people with our County\u2019s beautiful natural resources even in the cold winter months.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Chester County Parks include: Black Rock Sanctuary, Hibernia, Nottingham, Springton Manor Farm, Warwick, Wolf\u2019s Hollow and Exton Park.\u00a0 Parks are open every day, except Christmas Day, from 8:00 a.m. to sunset.
