The information collected will help identify community strengths, prioritize health needs, and guide the development of a community health improvement plan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThe community health assessment is more than just checking a box,\u201d said Chester County Health Department Director Jeanne Franklin. \u201cThis is an opportunity for residents to let their voices be heard about what matters most to them. Survey results will help us achieve a healthier, more equitable Chester County,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A goal of the Chester County Health Department is to focus on issues and initiatives that our communities feel are important. The assessment will be used to develop better, more accessible and equitable community health programs and services throughout Chester County. <!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The community health and wellness survey was developed with input from County Health Department representatives including nurses, health educators, grant administrators, emergency preparedness planners and environmental specialists.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The survey takes a few minutes to complete and asks questions about demographics, health behaviors and issues that impact the overall health of Chester County communities. Relevant topics, such as climate change and COVID-19 were added to this year\u2019s survey. Everyone 15 years and older who lives, works, or goes to school in Chester County is encouraged to complete the survey between now and November 6, 2022.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The survey is available in English at <a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/HealthyChesco2022\">bit.ly\/HealthyChesco2022.<\/a> A Spanish version is also available at <a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/SaludChesco2022\">bit.ly\/SaludChesco2022.<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The results of the assessment will be shared with the community in 2023.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Chester County Health Department launched its community health assessment survey this week to assess the health and well-being of those who live, work, or go to school in Chester County.
