On June 8th Saturday 2024, Pennsylvania State residents joined hands as dedicated volunteers of the global non-profit organization Dr. Shri. Nanasaheb Dharmadhikari Pratishthan (DSNDP), undertaking a Adopt-A-Highway cleanup drive in collaboration with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) at 1262 Newark Rd, Toughkenamon, PA-19374.This cleanliness drive by DSNDP drew 10 volunteers at Chester County who collected 12 big size bags of<\/span> trash<\/span> resulting<\/span> in<\/span> collection<\/span> of<\/span> around<\/span> 300<\/span> pounds<\/span> of<\/span> waste.<\/span><\/p>\n

In alignment with the motto “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” (The world is one family), DSNDP aims to foster a brighter future by advocating for cleanliness drives in collaboration with the US government by undertaking<\/span> nationwide cleanliness drives since July 2022. These activities are <\/span>executed under the guidance of the founders of the organisation Dr. Shri Appasaheb Dharmadhikai and Dr. Shri Sachindada Dharmadhikari.<\/p>\n

Earlier in Pennsylvania, the organization also carried out other cleanliness activities via Adopt- a Highway<\/span> initiative<\/span> in<\/span> collaboration<\/span> with<\/span> Pennsylvania<\/span> Department<\/span> of<\/span> transportation<\/span> across<\/span> 6 <\/span>cities involving a total of 117 volunteers who worked for around 224 volunteer hours, and collected<\/span> 182<\/span> bags<\/span> of<\/span> waste<\/span> resulting<\/span> in<\/span> approx.<\/span> 2730<\/span> pounds<\/span> of<\/span> trash.<\/span><\/p>\n

Within the North America continent, DSNDP continues to collaborate with 18 states and 73 cities across the United States for nationwide cleanliness drive including 20 different programs such as Adopt-Highway\/Park\/Beach\/ Street\/<\/span> River<\/span> etc.<\/span> During<\/span> these<\/span> cleanliness drives,<\/span> DSNDP has successfully<\/span> engaged<\/span> 1899<\/span> volunteers,<\/span> actively<\/span> collecting<\/span> more<\/span> than<\/span> 31000<\/span> pounds<\/span> of<\/span> trash, <\/span>resulting in significant cost savings for the government. The organization has received accolades from<\/span> various<\/span> state<\/span> and<\/span> county<\/span> governments<\/span> in<\/span> the<\/span> form<\/span> of<\/span> 37<\/span> certificates<\/span> and<\/span> 50<\/span> signboards <\/span>within the nation.<\/p>\n

The organization is also involved in tree plantation across 15 states and 33 cities within the US. DSNDP is also involved in health initiatives such as the Women’s Cancer Awareness Conference successfully<\/span> hosted<\/span> in<\/span> February<\/span> 2023<\/span> and<\/span> blood\/<\/span> plasma<\/span> donation<\/span> drives<\/span> in<\/span> Canada<\/span> and<\/span> the <\/span>United States in recent years. DSNDP also recently organized a Mega Cleanliness Drive and Tree Conservation Event across 21 locations simultaneously to celebrate Earth Day 2024.<\/p>\n
