That means the unofficial start of summer has arrived.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">With summer and warm weather comes outdoor concerts. Fortunately for area music fans, the summer schedule of live outdoor shows features a plethora of great music.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">The most ambitious series \u2013 the one with the most heavy hitters \u2013 is the 2025 Concerts Under the Stars series in King of Prussia, which has returned for its 39th season.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">Presented and produced by Rising Sun Presents, the team behind the Philly suburbs\u2019 premier music venues Ardmore Music Hall\u00a0and 118 North\u00a0in Wayne, the summer-long series will again take place at the scenic Upper\u00a0Merion\u00a0Township Building Park (175 West Valley Forge Road, King of \u00a0Prussia, <a id=\"OWA09e85810-e2a6-d3f7-004c-4acef8786d03\" class=\"OWAAutoLink\" title=\"http:\/\/www.concertsunderthestarskop.com\/\" href=\"http:\/\/www.concertsunderthestarskop.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">www.concertsunderthestarskop.com<\/a>) and will include a mix of ticketed and free concerts.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">The series will get underway this weekend with a show by the Wood Brothers on May 23 followed by \u201cAn American Classic: Bruce vs. Petty\u201d on June 6, Tommy Conwell &amp; The Young Rumblers on June 8 and Steve Earle on June 13.<\/div>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">One of the highlights of the season will be on June 14 when Concerts Under the Stars presents \u201cAimee Mann: 22 1\/2 Lost in Space Anniversary Tour.\u201d<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">Aimee Mann&#8217;s \u201c22 \u00bd Lost In Space Anniversary Tour\u201d is a celebration of her critically acclaimed 2002 album, which includes the singles &#8220;Humpty Dumpty&#8221; and &#8220;Pavlov&#8217;s Bell.&#8221; The tour will feature live performances of the album&#8217;s tracks, supported by Jonathan Coulton, Mann&#8217;s longtime collaborator.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">Mann\u2019s most recent album,\u00a0\u201cQueens of the Summer Hotel\u201d\u00a0(2021), continues to showcase her distinct style, blending reflective lyrics with atmospheric sounds. The\u00a0\u201cLost in Space\u201d\u00a0tour is expected to be a nostalgic and intimate experience, filled with both the raw emotion of her earlier work and the refined artistry she\u2019s known for today.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">Shows in Upper Merion for the remainder of June are Spafford on June 20, Jealousy Curve and Laura Shay on June 21 and Strand of Oaks on June 28.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">July will start with a trio of shows at Heuser Park<i>\u00a0(<\/i>694 W<i>est<\/i>\u00a0Beidler Road<i>, <\/i>King of Prussia,<i>) <\/i>\u2013 Lotus and Circle Around the Sun on July 3, Indigo Girls, Dar Williams and Milk Carton Kids on July 5 and railroad Earth and Yonder Mountain Stringband on July 6.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">July\u2019s schedule will also feature: 9, Leftover Salmon and Infamous Stringdusters; Phosphorescent, 10; Legendary Wailers and Jeffrey Gaines, 11; Trevor Hall, 19; The California Honeydrops, 20; The High Kings, 23; Grace Potter, 24; Tom Hamilton, 25; \u201cJerry Harrison and Adrian Belew: Remain in Light,\u201d 23; and Rachel &amp; Vilray, 30.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">August gets off to a booming start with local\/national favorites Low Cut Connie on August 1, Nick Lowe and Los Straitjackets on August 2 and \u201cPaul Simon\u2019s Graceland Experience\u201d on August 8.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">The rest of August includes: 13, Andy Frasco &amp; the U.N.; 17, John Oates and Mutlu; and 30, Splintered Sunlight.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">Two shows are listed for September \u2013 Mdou Moctar on the 13th and Robert Randolph on the 14th.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">Chuck Prophet &amp; His Cumbia Shows will be the lid lifter for the Bryn\u00a0Mawr\u00a0Twilight Concerts (<a id=\"OWA8ff7d09d-be25-da6e-9f9d-a14c5c1db9b0\" class=\"OWAAutoLink\" title=\"https:\/\/www.bing.com\/local?lid=YN873x8116295723669612537&amp;id=YN873x8116295723669612537&amp;q=Bryn+Mawr+Gazebo&amp;name=Bryn+Mawr+Gazebo&amp;cp=40.020381927490234%7e-75.31777954101562&amp;ppois=40.020381927490234_-75.31777954101562_Bryn+Mawr+Gazebo\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bing.com\/local?lid=YN873x8116295723669612537&amp;id=YN873x8116295723669612537&amp;q=Bryn+Mawr+Gazebo&amp;name=Bryn+Mawr+Gazebo&amp;cp=40.020381927490234~-75.31777954101562&amp;ppois=40.020381927490234_-75.31777954101562_Bryn+Mawr+Gazebo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">9 South\u00a0Bryn\u00a0Mawr\u00a0Avenue,\u00a0Bryn\u00a0Mawr,<\/a>\u00a0<a id=\"OWA8c010148-9f79-8005-0111-6168beb1cc3a\" class=\"OWAAutoLink\" title=\"http:\/\/brynmawrtwilightconcerts.com\/\" href=\"http:\/\/brynmawrtwilightconcerts.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">brynmawrtwilightconcerts.com<\/a>) on May 31 with Jesse Ruben as the opening act.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">The June schedule is: Over the Hillbillies, 6; Rhett Miller, 15; Livingston Taylor, 20; Chris Smither 21; and The Point 20 Year Reunion, 27.<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">The lineup for July features Steve Forbert on July 12, Trout Fishing in America on July 20, Downingtown native and Nashville luminary Liz Longley and Lucy Kaplansky on July 18, and Cheryl Wheeler and David Wilcox on July 25.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">August will get underway with a \u201cFolk Fest Preview Show\u201d on August 1 followed by Darlingside on August 8.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">There will be a welcomed return to the area by Stephen Kellogg on August 15 and an eagerly anticipated concert by Susan Werner on August 23.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">The season will conclude with shows by Vienna Teng on August 30 and Ron Sexsmith on September 5.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-20570 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/kennetttimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/Document-232x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"232\" height=\"300\" \/>East Whiteland Township (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eastwhiteland.org\/\">https:\/\/www.eastwhiteland.org<\/a>) is presenting \u201cThe Chill on the Hill,\u201d its free summer concert series presented by <a name=\"_Hlk198848036\"><\/a>Rising Sun Presents!<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">Guests are invited to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and friends for an evening of great music and community fun. All concerts take place at Valley Creek Park, which is located at 361 North Morehall Road in Malvern.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">The series starts with Dean &amp; Company with special guest Matt Santry on May 28 (not May 21 as on poster).<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">On June 18, WXPN welcomes Billy Allen &amp; The Pollies with Sophie Coran.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">The show on July 16 will be \u201cNewport Folkfest \u2013 A Celebration of Newport &#8217;65,\u201d featuring performances inspired by Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Joan Baez, and more.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">The series finale on August 20 will feature Hermitage Green &amp; Eddie 9V.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">The Eagleview Town Center (Wharton Boulevard, Exton, <a id=\"OWA43dc6ab6-f4b7-7e89-731c-afa3b80b3809\" class=\"OWAAutoLink\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ineagleview.com\/\">www.ineagleview.com<\/a>) will host its\u00a0Summer Concert Series\u00a0every Tuesday from June 3-August 26.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">This series, which is in its 24th year, features a\u00a0variety of performances, including the return of\u00a0Entrain\u00a0and\u00a0Seth Walker. Concerts will take place from 7-9 p.m. Attendees can enjoy local food and drink vendors, Alex\u2019s Lemonade Stand, and the 50\/50 raffle.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">The series starts on June 3 with the concert by Entrain with Seth Walker while the July edition features Dale Hollow with Caroline Cotter on July 15.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">On August 8, the twin bill features a national act \u2013 Cracker \u2013 and a local favorite &#8212; Cliff Hillis.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">Cracker\u00a0is an American\u00a0rock\u00a0band formed in 1990 by lead singer\u00a0David Lowery\u00a0and guitarist\u00a0Johnny Hickman.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">The band\u2019s first album, \u201cCracker,\u201d was released in 1992 on\u00a0Virgin Records. It included the single \u201cTeen Angst (What the World Needs Now),\u201d which went to Number 1 on the U.S.\u00a0Modern Rock\u00a0chart.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">Rising Sun Presents!
