A girl can dream, right? Even as her husband shudders<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Do you remember as a kid when the huge JCPenney catalog would come in the mail right before Christmas?<\/p>\n

I can vividly recall meticulously paging through circling all of my \u201cmost wanted\u201d toys to show to my parents.<\/p>\n

My kids would do the same thing with the Toys R Us flyers.\u00a0 I would find pictures ripped out and placed, ever so gently, on my pillow.\u00a0 Now, they just prefer cold, hard cash (and violent video games)\u2026.sigh.<\/p>\n

Some things never change, though.\u00a0 This came in the mail yesterday:<\/p>\n

*it\u2019s the Nordstrom \u201ceverday luxuries\u201d edition.\u00a0 Be still my heart.<\/p>\n

My husband is super psyched, as you can imagine.<\/p>\n

Each page is more glorious than the next.\u00a0 Gucci, Prada, Jimmy Choo, Chloe, Valentino and Manolo Blahnik.\u00a0 Santa? Can you hear me?<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s look at these images together, shall we?<\/p>\n

Just a little slice of designer heaven.<\/p>\n

The fashionista in me salivates at the thought of one of these beauties wrapped in shiny metallic paper complete with a big red bow under the tree on Christmas morning.<\/p>\n

The cold harsh reality is that receiving a $2,000 handbag with two looming college tuitions is unlikely come December 25th<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

Why must maturity come at such a price?\u00a0 Isn\u2019t there room for compromise?<\/p>\n

Like this Tory Burch purse (shown in Peruvian opal but also available in black or Parisian blue\u2026could you just D-I-E?)<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

You will find this gem on page 67 of the catalog if you are following along (or if you are looking for a present to buy for me).<\/p>\n

The caption reads \u201csometimes subtle fits you to a T\u201d Get it?\u00a0 \u201cT\u201d for Tory Burch?\u00a0 Tres clever.<\/p>\n

And, it\u2019s ONLY $550!\u00a0 (Hubby just choked on his coffee\u2026not getting a positive vibe here)<\/p>\n
