David G. Turner is a new board member, WSFS Financial Corp. announced Monday.<\/p><\/div>\n

WSFS Financial Corp. announced the election of two new board members on Monday: Eleuth\u00e8re I. du Pont and David G. Turner.\u00a0Both were elected to three-year terms at the annual stockholders\u2019 meeting on Thursday, said a company news release.<\/p>\n

Eleuth\u00e8re I. du Pont heads the Longwood Foundation, a private foundation principally supporting charitable organizations in the Delaware Valley. He also serves on the board of E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company, where he also chairs its Audit Committee and is a member of its Science and Technology Committee. In addition, he is chairman of the board of the Delaware Alliance for Nonprofit Advancement (DANA) and of the Community Education Building, the release said.<\/p>\n

Prior to his current positions, du Pont worked at drugstore.com and Wawa, Inc. He received a bachelor\u2019s degree in mechanical engineering and a master\u2019s in business administration from Stanford University.<\/p>\n

Eleuth\u00e8re I. du Pont was elected on Thursday to a three-year term as board member, WSFS Financial Corp. announced Monday.<\/p><\/div>\n

David G. Turner is vice president and partner at IBM Global Business Services. Previously, he was employed with MBNA \/ Bank of America, Gateway, Inc. and AT&T. In addition to his current position, Turner is vice chairman of the Board of Trustees of Delaware State University and an adjunct professor at the University of Delaware, the release said.<\/p>\n

Turner received a bachelor\u2019s degree in computer science and mathematics from Delaware State University, a master\u2019s in information systems from Farleigh Dickinson University and has attended Tuck Executive Education at Dartmouth College.<\/p>\n

Schoenhals, WSFS chairman, said in the release.<\/p>\n
