Organizers of the Second Annual Brandywine Folk Festival have a solution: Volunteer.<\/p>\n<p>The three-day event, presented by the Brandywine Folk Collective, Historic Kennett Square Society, and WXPN, is seeking volunteers for the festival, which will run from Aug. 23-25. In exchange for each day of participation, volunteers get free admission and are encouraged to volunteer all three days, which amounts to a $65 savings.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s festival will be held at Anson B. Nixon Park and will feature over 30 national and international acts, dozens of vendors, beer-gardens, and games\/activities for kids. The Brandywine Folk Festival aims to unite the unique stylings of many different musicians in a family-friendly atmosphere while giving back to the community. Proceeds will benefit the Southeastern Pennsylvania Autism Resource Center (SPARC).<\/p>\n<p>Headliners at the festival include Good Old War, Mischief Brew, and Pearl &amp; The Beard. Potential volunteers should submit an application, available at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.brandywinefolkfestival.com\/information\">www.brandywinefolkfestival.com\/information<\/a>, to secure a preferred shift and responsibilities.
