Are supermodels and football players really that different?<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

\"UTKellyRev2Column\"<\/a>Fashion Week in NYC is here!!!!<\/p>\n

It\u2019s my version of fantasy football.\u00a0 I love to watch (online, #bummer) my favorite designers display their latest creations on the catwalk.<\/p>\n

I totally think it is the same thrill that my husband and sons experience week after week on Sundays in the fall.<\/p>\n

The similarities are there.\u00a0 Both football players and models are:<\/p>\n

(a.)\u00a0 Hungry<\/p>\n

(b.)\u00a0 In abnormal physical condition<\/p>\n

(c.)\u00a0 Paid ridiculous amounts of money<\/p>\n

\"Kelly1\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Both coaches and designers are:<\/p>\n

(a.)\u00a0 Stressed<\/p>\n

(b.)\u00a0 Frazzled<\/p>\n

(c.)\u00a0 Screaming at someone for something<\/p>\n

Even so, when I try to talk with my guys, their eyes glaze over.\u00a0 Thank goodness I have this column to go over my \u201cFANTASY FASHION WEEK UPDATE\u201d!\u00a0 Woo Hoo!<\/p>\n

The big trends for Spring 2014 are Easter egg inspired pastels and vivid pops of blue.\u00a0 Flower prints (particularly roses) are everywhere.\u00a0 Classic, dark denim, rather than the Crayola colored variety of last year, is back!\u00a0 (Alleluia!) \u00a0The mid-calf length skirt (please, tell me WHO can pull this off?) is popular and, unfortunately, is also pleated (ewww).<\/p>\n

\"Kelly2\"<\/a>Make-up at the Rag&Bone show featured neon orange lipstick (LOVE) paired with nearly naked eyes and bold brows. \u00a0Nail art (along with the cropped top) is not going away any time soon.<\/p>\n

Studded accessories, graphic print flats and black and white loafers are key pieces for your wardrobe come Spring.<\/p>\n

\"Kelly3\"<\/a>Kate Spade is consistently one of my favorites and her collection this time is no exception.\u00a0 Women\u2019s Wear Daily reports that inspiration for the line stems from lush French gardens, the mesmerizing island of Capri and uber chic Monaco.\u00a0 Sounds like a slam dunk to me! \u00a0(Oh right, this is a football relatable article)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
