Lauridsen is known as the &#8220;most-performed living American choral composer,&#8221; and is\u00a0the 2007 National Medal of Arts recipient and first USC professor and third alumnus to receive the\u00a0lifetime achievement award from the National Endowment for the Arts.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo highlight the musical beauty, power and spiritual depth of Morten Lauridsen\u2019s compositions, I\u00a0felt that a multi-media approach would serve as a perfect complement to the multi-dimensional\u00a0aspects of his works. Joining Mr. Miner are Unionville\u00a0High School art students. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for students, and are available online and\u00a0at the door.<\/p>\n<p>To purchase tickets in advance, please visit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thebvc.org\" target=\"_blank\">www.thebvc.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Brandywine Valley Chorale is a 50-member auditioned chorus founded in 2007 by a group of\u00a0musicians, arts supporters and friends in the Unionville area and surrounding communities.\u00a0Founder and Artistic Director, Jason Throne, received his Masters in Choral Conducting at Temple\u00a0University and has worked with renowned conductors including Robert Page, Joseph Flummerfelt,\u00a0Vance George, Marvin Hamlisch, John Rutter and David Zinman.
