{"id":9962,"date":"2013-12-10T09:31:45","date_gmt":"2013-12-10T14:31:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/kennetttimes.com\/?p=9962"},"modified":"2013-12-09T22:33:38","modified_gmt":"2013-12-10T03:33:38","slug":"nominations-open-for-outstanding-female-advocate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kennetttimes.com\/?p=9962","title":{"rendered":"Nominations open for outstanding female advocate"},"content":{"rendered":"<h1><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: medium;\"><em>Chester County Fund for Women and Girls seeking annual award-winner<\/em><\/span><\/h1>\n<div>\n<div>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/kennetttimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/Image-3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-9963\" style=\"border: 2px solid black; margin: 4px;\" alt=\"Image 3\" src=\"http:\/\/kennetttimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/12\/Image-3.jpg\" width=\"115\" height=\"111\" \/><\/a>The Chester County Fund for Women and Girls is now accepting nominations for its 2014 Kitchen Table Award.<\/p>\n<p>The award was established in 2011 to honor a member of the community who represents the fund\u2019s mission and values, an \u201coutstanding Chester County woman who has made substantive contributions through service and\/or philanthropy to improve the lives of women and girls through her own time, or talents, or resources,\u201d a news release said.<\/p>\n<p>The Kitchen Table Award is named to celebrate the genesis of the fund: the many conversations held around kitchen tables, board tables, and coffee tables that led to the formation of the fund in 1996. \u00a0Last year\u2019s recipients was Betty Moran, a longtime philanthropist whose work with county nonprofits has included playing a key role as a behind-the-scenes advisor and generous donor since the fund\u2019s beginning.<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->The award nominee is announced prior to\u00a0and recognized\u00a0during the fund\u2019s annual spring Making a Difference Luncheon.
