Kennett was well represented in a tune up for the Penn Relays

Kennett's Hannah Dilcher grabbed an eighth-place finish in high jump
MALVERN—With the Penn Relays just around the corner on the schedule, Saturday’s’ 13th annual Hurricane invitational serves as a great warm up for the bi event as medals are awarded for the top five spots in each event but no team score is tabulated.
The no team score format allows runners and field athletes the liberty and freedom to stretch their normal boundaries and work on improving their personal times and distances, in hopes of qualifying for districts.
Kennett High School’s presence was known at the annual meeting of the area’s best at Villa Maria Academy as the pole vaulting duo of Sarah Finfrock (9 feet, 6 inches) and Katie McQuiston (9 feet, 0 inches) claimed third and fifth place respectively.
The Kennett duo of Madi Schuck and Kellie Boyle set new personal bests in the 3200
Another Blue Demons duo helped propel each other to new personal bests in the 3200 meter run as Madi Schuck who posted a time of 12:58.65 and Kellie Boyle (13:01.38) each shaved at least 25 seconds off of the their previous PR.
Blue Demons high jumper Hannah Dilcher continues to improve every time she steps onto the track, as she cleared 4 foot 6 inches easily and came within a whisker of making the jump to 4 foot eight, which was high enough to snag her an eight place finish in a field of more than 35 jumpers.
